Most of the music is very catchy, and you'll end up catching yourself humming them later after you've played the game. The music of this game was very fitting for each area that you were in. Like this new ability they added, the Super Missile, when you shoot at an enemy, it makes a very satisfying sound when the enemy explodes. Each time you killed an enemy, shot with the ice beam, or jumped, it'd make the perfect sound effect for each sound. Sound: 10 This game's sound was very good. Super Metroid has great graphics for the SNES, Graphics get a 10 for the great gameplay setup compared to the other 2 in the series, and the fact that it was rare to find a shooting game where you could shoot in more than 2 directions. And still today, I feel the same way towards it. I thought this game was the coolest thing ever. For one, a new feature they added, instead of the previous 2 games, you can now shoot in 8 directions! Plus the graphics of the speed booster ability? When I first played the game, or watched my brother play through it as a child, the game's graphics blew my mind. Graphics: 10 This game has very great graphics for the Super Nintendo. Due to the game's great balancing of difficulty, I give Super Metroid a 10. Samus is completely alone in this game like most other Metroid games. Its great gameplay mixed with its alien world, completed with the fitting music for each area that you're in makes the game perfectly balanced with its difficulty, and its lone-wolf story. If not that, then one of the best on the Super Nintendo. I'm sure many of you have played the game, and I'm sure many of you can agree. 10/10 Super Metroid Overall: 10 Super Metroid.
